Sliding into 2023 with some strength and mobility work

Hello and welcome all,

I hope you all enjoyed holidays with family, friends and a lot of delicious food.

Now it’s time to start sliding into 2023, slowly getting back on track in all aspects of our lives.

Beginning of the year is usual time to make some new commitments, mostly to ourselves.

For me, it’s time to make new plans and new goals. Most of my plans and goals include spending more time with my family, learning some new skill, achieving at least one new certificate, traveling, meeting some new people,…

It doesn’t seem a lot, but sometimes, due to work and all other obligation, I don’t accomplish my plans entirely. I do my best and that’s what counts too, right?

I believe most of you like me spent a lot of time sitting or standing during the holidays. So today, I decided to slide very easily into 2023 with some strength and mobility work.

I did total body circuit with one lighter kettlebell and my own body. Nothing complicated or exhausting on the menu.

Exercises for this total body strength and mobility work were:

  1. Kneeling hip thrust (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eAH3rZVC280)
  2. Single arm power clean Into reverse lunge (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QmMCEDRkOcs)
  3. Hand release push ups
  4. Single arm snatch and push press
  5. Crab reach (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rsBVxRzMMik
  6. Halo with lunge (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oMQwmsTYnyk )
  7. Burpees

I did 4 rounds, but feel free to do 3 or 5 depending of free time and energy level. All exercises for 12 reps total which mean 6 reps for single side exercises. No rest in between exercises and 60 – 90 seconds rest after burpees.

Keep the form, take it easy and enjoy the process.

If you are for something more challenging, be my guest and do one of my hiit workouts like https://my-fit-corner.com/25-minute-bodyweight-emom-workout for bodyweight version or https://my-fit-corner.com/one-kettlebell-total-body-workout.

Best wishes,
