Total body workout – free sample

Hello everyone,

If you red my earlier posts, you would know that I train 5 times a week most of the year.

However, during 7 days’ vacation my workout routine contains 3 total body strength sessions. Nothing complicated or heavy just keeping my routine on.

Below is my full vacation workout routine with sets and reps. It’s gym based. Hope you will try it.

Workout 1 – Total body strength with AMRAP finisher

  • Superset 1 – 12 deadlifts and 10 chest presses
  • Superset 2 – 10 split squat with pulses and 10 push ups with row
  • Superset 3 – 10 squat thruster and 10 side V ups
  • AMRAP finisher – 5 single arm hang snatch, 10 plank rocks, 15 squat jumps

Each superset for 3 rounds. AMRAP finisher for 10 min.

Workout 2 – EMOM

  • Min 1: 5 row, clean and jerk, overhead squat – left arm
  • Min 2: 5 row, clean and jerk, overhead squat – right arm
  • Min 3: Kneel to stand suitcase hold
  • Min 4: 10 dead bug pullover
  • Min 5: 10 burpee with plank ups

Repeat 5 rounds for 25 min of work

Workout 3 – Bodyweight AMRAP and yoga on the beach

For third and last workout on my vacation, I did 30 min AMRAP workout and yoga on the beach. This yoga class was new experience for me and I really enjoyed it.

For 30 min AMRAP I did 10 reps of each exercise:

  • sumo squat high pull
  • kickstand deadlift into split squat
  • face pull
  • sit ups press
  • farmers carry (10 steps back and forward)
